We currently are available to gather virtually for Process Art sessions, otherwise known as Birth Art. Caroline is a certified Birth from Within Mentor and uses the Birthing from Within model to inform her sessions.

Creating art is a fun way to prepare for a transformative event. Creating art mirrors labor and new parenthood and all the unknowns of your new journey.  Creating art helps you discover your own beliefs about birth, yourself, and how to shine light through your own wisdom and intuition.

Designed as a deeply personal way to prepare for your birth and prepare for parenting or as you reflect on the birth you just had.

Designed for birth workers who attend births and walk the parenthood journey with client, friends, or family members.

  • Participants will use pastels and paper and draw from various prompts. You can also use crayons or markers.

  • This is different than art therapy and no artistic skills are required

  • The process of making art is used as a tool to prepare for birth or hard thresholds to cross, or process birth so no need to share any final product

Each artistic endeavor is a journey of self-discovery, practicing leaning into discomfort, surrendering to the unknown, and letting the creative ‘self’ guide you. I facilitate this exploration; I will not assess or diagnose based on any person’s artistic creation.

“Although she had brought the colors of the daylight sky to comfort her, Aurora found that she was not afraid in the dark place of the indigo sky. She now understood Grandmother’s mysterious words. Together again, Aurora and her family celebrated her journey with the caribou, which had led Aurora to discover courage and her own inner light”
